Transport for London is consulting on plans for a new tram loop in Croydon to increase line capacity and support the town centre redevelopment. The Dingwall Road loop has been developed in consultation with the London Borough of Croydon. TfL plans to apply to the DfT this autumn for the Transport and Works Act Order to build the line. Construction is anticipated to being in 2017 and the line could be operational in 2019. Consultation closes on 18 May.
