Transport for London has appointed Santander Bank to sponsor the capital’s cycle hire scheme in a seven-year deal worth £43.75m.
lond fought off competition from Coca-Cola to secure the deal to replace current sponsor Barclays Bank from April.
The scheme will be branded Santander Cycles, with the bikes losing their blue livery in favour of Santander’s red and white corporate colours.
