The City of Edinburgh Council is exploring options for extending the city’s tram line to serve the north of the city.
The initial 8.5-mile line between the airport and city centre opened at the end of May and the council says passenger numbers are “in line with business case expectations”.
Officers, with the help of consultants who have yet to be appointed, will assess the business case for building extensions and report back to councillors in late spring.
