Bus Quality Contracts unsuitable, says Bristol

Bristol City Council officers say there is no case for introducing a bus Quality Contract Scheme in the city. 

The topic of bus regulation was  discussed last week by the council’s place scrutiny commission. Councillors were provided with an officer report and a copy of a report looking into the pros and cons of bus Quality Contracts, which was completed for the council last year by consultants Arup and Elan PTC.
