Dorset County Council is exploring how to increase use of park-and-ride sites serving Weymouth and Dorchester.
The Weymouth site, opened in 2011, has capacity for 1,159 cars but fewer than 100 vehicles park daily, except in the summer peak season and on special events days. It has operating costs of £278,000 a year and generated income of just over £91,000 in 2013/14.
