Milton Keynes launches wirelessly-charged buses

The UK’s first electric bus fleet  to be recharged using wireless inductive charging technology has gone into service in Milton Keynes. 

Eight electric buses have replaced diesel vehicles on Arriva’s route 7 (Wolverton-Central Milton Keynes– Bletchley) in a five-year experiment led by Mitsui & Co Europe and consultant Arup.
