Milton Keynes Council is preparing for the launch of electric bus operations in January that will see buses recharged using inductive charging.
Eight electric buses built by Wrightbus will replace seven diesel buses on Arriva’s route 7 (Wolverton-Central Milton Keynes-Bletchley) in a five-year project managed by Mitsui-Arup joint venture MBK Arup Sustainable Projects.
