Falkirk Council is to begin procurement of the first piece of transport infrastructure to be delivered through its Tax Increment Financing (TIF) initiative. The council, which is one of Scotland’s TIF trailblazers, is expected to issue a tender next month for signalisation and carriageway widening of the M9 junction 6, which provides access to Falkirk and Grangemouth.
