The DFT has released the full written advice given by officials to transport minister Norman Baker about a controversial road scheme given the go-ahead last spring.
The paperwork concerns East Sussex County Council’s Bexhill-Hastings Link road, which the Chancellor announced would go-ahead in his Budget last March.
