The future of Bristol’s bus rapid transit project is uncertain following last week’s mayoral election that saw a critic of the scheme elected.
Independent candidate George Ferguson, a former president of the Royal Institute of British Architects, has pledged to approach Government “to strike a City Deal that includes enhanced rail, tram and bus service alternatives to the flawed BRT bendy bus”.
