The Scottish Government is developing a new method to prioritise capital investment across transport and other sectors.

 Alex Neil, the minister for infrastructure and capital investment, said the methodology would allow decisions to be taken about whether to spend money “on housing or on roads, where the greatest benefit is and how we should prioritise investment”.
