Committee puts technology at heart of plan to cut emissions by 80%

The Government’s Committee on Climate Change has placed the emphasis firmly on technology as the route to cutting transport’s greenhouse gas emissions. The message comes in interim advice to ministers that also calls for a significantly tougher target to cut emissions across all economic sectors.
