The DfT is to revise the appraisal summary tables (ASTs) that highlight the key predicted impacts of a scheme to decision-makers.
Critics say the information contained in ASTs can be misleading because it is so brief. The Department says it will examine the potential for presenting more of the detail underpinning the summary information.
