Singapore-based ComfortDelGro has acquired Wales’ largest independent bus operator, New Adventure Travel (NAT), for S$25m, about £13.6m.
NAT has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2008 by Kevyn Jones. The company employs more than 300 people and operates 117 buses and coaches from depots across South Wales. In 2015 it began to operate commercial services within Cardiff, traditionally the domain of municipal operator Cardiff Bus.
