East Devon parking charges to double

Parking charges at a number car parks in East Devon have doubled to £2 an hour.

The fee increase affects nine car parks. Beer Central, Exmouth Queen's Drive, Queens Drive Echelon, Exmouth Foxholes, Exmouth Beach Gardens, Budleigh Lime

Kiln and Sidmouth Ham (East and West) parking sites will be affected as they are considered prime tourist hotspots by EDDC.

Car parks in other prime locations in the district will also increase their fees by 50%.
