Bus Users UK backs UITP user rights position
Passenger lobby group Bus Users UK has backed a joint statement by several international transport organisations calling for controversial European bus and coach passenger rights legislation to be amended in order to allow more feasible introduction.
Members of the European Parliament overwhelmingly voted in favour of the legislation in a vote last month. 557 MEPs voted in support of the plans with just 30 against and 23 abstentions.
