On-street charging for Coventry city centre

Coventry City Council has approved the introduction of on-street parking charges in the city centre in the autumn. This will see the creation of 180 new bays, taking the total of controlled on-street spaces to over 400.

The charges will be 50p for the first 30 minutes, £1 for one hour and £2 for two hours.

There will be no charge to park after 6pm. Depending on location, the maximum time users will be able to park on-street will be four hours.
