Tebay is a real service station

Tebay services and farm shop in Cumbria has become the first service station in Britain to be awarded five stars in a survey put together by the Highways Agency and Visit England.

Situated on the north bound M6 at the head of the Lune gorge, Tebay is part of the Dunning family farm. The service area features a butcher’s counter selling local beef, the shop sells local wines, and the restuarant offers homemade meals and outdoor grill shack offers barbecues. Tebay employs 500 people.
