Northampton parking shop to close down

Northampton is to lose its parking shop in order to deliver a more “cost-effective” and “efficient” service, the county council has announced. The shop, which is based in Midsummer House in Bedford Road, Northampton, closes on 11 May.

People will only be able to carry out  transactions such as applying for a parking permit or paying fines online by telephone or by post.
