Wooden children aid safety at North Wales schools

Patrick McDonnell

Wooden safety signs shaped like children have been placed outside schools in Conwy, North Wales, to relay the importance of parking safely outside schools in the county.

The 3ft (91cm) wooden cut-outs of children have been erected outside four schools, Ysgol Maelgwn, in Llandudno Junction, Ysgol Tan Y Marian, Colwyn Bay, Ysgol Cynfran, Llysfaen and Ysgol Llanddulas, Abergele. Each of the “wooden children” has a different safety message written on it.
