Gallan Parking: Giving vacant sites real value

Gallan Parking is focussing on making the most of derelict and stalled development sites, says Phillip Grant

Gallan Parking is a recent entrant to the town and city centre parking sector, specialising in turning underused derelict or vacant land into car parks.

Launched in 2009 by Birmingham property specialist Gallan Group, the company now operates more than 3,000 spaces in an area from Sheffield to Worthing and Stafford to Norwich.

“We ideally buy sites but occasionally we'll lease them or even just manage them and take a share of the profits,” says managing director Phillip Grant....
