Leicester council is offering firms incentives to use park & ride at Enderby

Leicester City Council is set to offer local businesses incentives to boost patronage of its newest park & ride service at Enderby.

The authority is hoping to encourage firms to buy bus tickets for their staff. Employers would be given incentives, such as tax breaks, to encourage their workers to take the bus to work through “salary sacrifice” schemes.

The number of people using the 1,000-space park & ride, near junction 21 of the M1, has been disappointing since its launch...
