City warden helps catch burglars

Quick thinking by an Aberdeen City Council city warden resulted in the capture of two thieves. Former police officer Ted Donald, was on solo patrol in Aberdeen’s Rosemount area when a member of the public warned him about a burglary in progress at a flat involving a male and female.

Donald said: “I immediately contacted the police control room because I knew they stood a better chance of catching the thieves while they were still in the immediate area.”
