Camden to refund Easter fines

Council admits Bank Holiday PCNs for single yellow line offences caused widespread confusion

Camden council is to refund more than 1,000 motorists who were fined for parking on single yellow lines on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

The council has historically not enforced parking on single yellow lines on Bank Holidays, but changed the rules for the Easter holiday. This resulted in 1,119 PCNs being issued to drivers parking on single yellow lines.
