Bluewater cuts crime

Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre's car parks have had their Park Mark status renewed.

While the number of cars visiting the centre has increased by 1.5 million to over 10 million a year, the number of car-crime incidents has reduced from 66 to just 39 over the past 12 months.

Improvements made at the centre include upgraded car park lighting, CCTV, help points and automatic number plate recognition (CCTV).
