The Safer Parking Scheme

So far, over 3,500 car parks across Britain have attained Park Mark status under the Safer Parking Scheme, an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO). The scheme aims to reduce crime and the fear of crime in parking facilities. The initiative is an evolution of the Secured Car Parks scheme, which was launched by ACPO in the 1990s.

Safer Parking status, represented by the Park Mark logo, is awarded to parking facilities that have met the requirements of a risk assessment...
