Parkeon was ‘first’

I was struck with a sense of déja vu after reading the story “CreditCall cracks Chip & PIN” (PR May). While the introduction of this solution is the first from the company, it is certainly not the first in the industry. As Parking Review itself reported last October, the first UK application of Parkeon’s own EMV-approved Chip & PIN card reader was six Varioflex automatic pay stations installed at Doncaster’s Frenchgate centre.
