Operators target airlines with new generation of cross border trains

The latest batches of trains ordered by Eurostar, SNCF and DB will provide a large additional capability to operate new international services on top of those services already operated in alliances.

SNCF has started receiving the first trains from an order with Alstom for 55 Duplex AGV sets which feature traction equipment suited to all currents used on European rail networks,  and signalling equipment compatible with systems in Switzerland, Germany, Luxemburg and France. Modifications...
