Network Rail publishes analysis of station congestion

Network Rail has published an analysis of passenger congestion at stations along with a ‘toolkit’ of solutions that could be used to relieve it in its Network Route Utilisation Strategy (RUS) for stations. The plan sets out those stations where action is needed most urgently and proposes a range of potential measures, which can then be used as part of bespoke solutions developed to combat issues at specific stations in a process involving all interested parties.
