‘Bus service support will be reduced'

The Treasury’s May announcement of Department for Transport cuts of £683m gives some clues.

Popular concessionary bus fares will stay but eligibility may be tightened and charges for card issue introduced. 61% of UK local bus service support goes to Transport for London who may raise fares rather than cut the network as bus use growth continues.
