Stagecoach considers next move after competition appeal success

Stagecoach says that it is considering its options after the Competition Appeal Tribunal agreed with some elements of its appeal against the Competition Commission's investigation into the acquisition of Preston Bus.

The move could see the forced divestment of the business, which was ordered last year in the wake of the purchase of Preston Bus by Stagecoach in early 2009, suspended.

The Perth-based group says that it is now considering its next move.
