Johnson and business leaders call for transport investment

London mayor Boris Johnson and a number of London business leaders have today called for any incoming government administration to protect funding for improvements to the capital's transport networks.

The group, whose letter was published in the Guardian this morning, includes City of London policy chairman Stuart Fraser, Jo Valentine, chief executive of London First, and Colin Stanbridge, chief executive of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
