What would sale of National Express Group mean for its UK COACH operations?

The board of National Express is considering a bid from the CVC Capital Partners which would break-up of the group. What would happen to its UK rail operations?

when the Cosmen family sold their Alsa express coach operation in Spain to National Express in 2005 they handed over control of a company that had been in their hands for nine generations. It was an attachment that they perhaps found difficult to let go of. But now they are poised to take back control of this business, and perhaps take National Express’s UK coach operation too.

Unlike National Express’s UK?bus and rail operations, there are no plans for the Cosmen’s CVC...
