Swedes consider deregulation of buses

Since Britain deregulated its local bus services more than two decades ago, no-one else in Europe has followed. This could now be about to change.

Sweden’s Conservative government has published a consultation paper on plans to deregulate the nation’s bus services. It will provoke controversy, but our local source says the plans have not caught much attention. Will Stagecoach soon be planning a return to Sweden?...
