No less than five items in your issue of 1 February raise doubts about the prospects for road pricing (front page lead article, editorial, Andrew Morris's item on developments in Manchester, Garrett Emmerson's column and the news item about the 460,000 signatures on the Downing Street online petition opposing road pricing).
