Quiet Lane and Home Zone guidance imminent

The DfT is currently finalising work on guidance on issues that local traffic authorities in England must consider when deciding whether or not to designate a road as a Quiet Lane or a Home Zone, transport minister Karen Buck told Mike Hancock (LibDem). It is intended to publish the guidance as a DfT circular soon, in parallel with the publication of regulations, she added. [06/02]...
