New study of child road casualties

The Department of Health is commissioning research into ways of cutting child road casualties. “The UK’s record in child pedestrian safety is markedly at odds with its strong safety record for vehicle occupants,” says the DoH’s National Institute for Health Research, adding that “high-quality evidence on the interventional effectiveness to reduce injuries is scarce”. The deadline for applications is 11 December....
