DfT explores devolving BSOG in return for patronage pledges

The DfT is considering devolving Bus Service Operators Grant (BSOG) to local transport authorities in England who have agreed plans with bus operators to boost bus ridership.

Details remain sketchy but the broad outline of the proposals was explained by a bus industry insider to LTT this week.
