Cycle safety measures for Bow blackspot

Transport for London is consulting on two options to improve cycle safety at a roundabout in East London where two cyclists have been killed in recent months. The options for treating Bow roundabout are:

giving cyclists an ‘early start’ on green lights on the eastbound and westbound entrances to the roundabout to help them travel round ahead of other traffic

reducing the flyover that crosses the roundabout (linking Bow Road with Stratford High Street) from two lanes to one...
