Ministers invite Cornwall to submit detrunking plans

Cornwall’s two trunk roads could be devolved to the council under plans to speed up the delivery of improvements to the roads.

The DfT has invited Cornwall Council to bring forward an application to take over the A30 and A38 trunk roads – 188km of road – from the Highways Agency.
