UK students on transport Masters fall 26%

An increasing number of overseas students is helping to sustain transport Masters courses at UK universities this year, according to the annual survey by the Transport Planning Society.

The TPS reports that the number of students studying transport Masters courses at ten UK universities in 2011/12 has fallen 8.5%, from 367 full-time equivalents (FTEs) last year to 335.

Total UK students fell from 175 to 133 (26%). The biggest drop was in UK part-time students – down by a third from 114...
