Notts pledges £20m towards HA road


Nottinghamshire County Council is hoping that an offer of £20m will persuade ministers to accelerate the delivery of a Highways Agency road project.

The county is pledging the money towards the cost of dualling the A453 that passes through the county between the M1 at junction 24 (in Leicestershire) and the A52 on the south side of Nottingham.
