Ministers seek to cut transport ‘red tape’

Local authorities in England are being asked to come forward with suggestions for rules and regulations that could be removed to help deliver transport and other services. Minister for decentralisation Greg Clark has written to all local authorities inviting them to submit proposals for removing ‘red tape’ under the Sustainable Communities Act. Suggestions can be made at the website barrierbusting.
