Norfolk presses on with longer Norwich bypass

Norfolk County Council is pressing ahead with plans to build a longer Norwich Northern Distributor Road than the DfT has approved for funding.

Norfolk’s cabinet last week endorsed plans to build the NDR between the A1067 Fakenham Road north-west of the city and the A47 to the east. The county plans to submit a planning application to itself for the scheme this autumn.
