Operators attack town centre QPSs as South Yorks makes concessions

Bus operators have criticised South Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority’s plans for town centred-based statutory quality partnerships, claiming that they are an inappropriate use of the legislation.

The comments by First and Stagecoach come in response to the PTE’s consultation on introducing Statutory Bus Quality Partnerships in Doncaster and Barnsley (LTT 14 Nov 08).
