Fears about regional reforms

The East of England Regional Assembly has warned that the Government's plans to scrap regional assemblies and pass planning powers to the Regional Development Agencies threatens the ability of local authorities to influence transport investment, house building rates, and other major planning issues (LTT?19 Jul).
