Cambridge TIF bid, Cambridgeshire

A new railway station at Chesterton, bus priority measures on Hills Road and Newmarket Road and express routes for park-and-ride bus services into Cambridge city centre are included in Cambridgeshire County Council's bid for the Government's Transport Innovation Fund. The package of measures also includes proposals for a congestion charging area for in and around the centre of Cambridge that would operate during the morning rush hour.
