London Gateway Port, Thurrock

Final approval was given last week by the Government for the proposed London Gateway Port at Shellhaven, a former oil refinery site within the Thames Gateway area. Improvements to the road infrastructure include increasing capacity on the A1014, which runs into the site from the A13, and the A13 from there to the M25 where junction 30 would be upgraded.
