Spinney takes professor role at CTS

Justin Spinney has been appointed the new Professor in Transport and Mobility Studies at the Centre for Transport and Society, University of the West of England. 

He takes over from John Parkin, who has retired. Prior to joining CTS, Spinney spent 10 years in the School of Geography and Planning at Cardiff University. 

As an expert in the fields of cycling, mobility justice, political-economy and virtual mobilities, Spinney said he  aims to complement and extend the scope of research and teaching in CTS and the College of Arts, Technology and Environment. 

Spinney has just brought out the Handbook of Travel Behaviour, co-edited with Dimitris Potoglou, Reader in Transport at Cardiff University.
