Learn how to engage stakeholders in planning, design and development.

This series provides the opportunity for participants to enhance their ability to devise a community planning strategy.

Working with a small group of specialists, sharing similar challenges, it will include an overview of methods available and a workshop session focused on devising a strategy for participants’ own situation. It is designed for both professionals and non-professionals in the field.

With the benefit of its location, issues from the rapidly changing South Bank area around the venue will be taken as case study material, including the experiences of local community representatives.

Nick Wates is the leading UK specialist on community planning and design. As a writer, researcher, practitioner and consultant, he has participated in, and chronicled, its development for over 25 years working with bodies such as the Prince’s Foundation . This masterclass is limited to 25 places, which are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
